Beads, Beads, and more Beads

I spent most of my time inside my room today as I was trying to come up with a new summer collection of bead accessories. Thanks to my friend Mike, who P-A-T-I-E-N-T-L-Y organized my mess-feast beads and tools last week during his stay at our place. He definitely rekindled my passion in doing this stuff  after seeing him so interested in  making earrings, bracelets, and necklaces.  His such a fast-learner and it showed that his really bent on doing it. Haha.I really enjoyed that week with him. After such a long period of time I'm finally making accessories again which I stopped doing when I graduated in high school. My friend is such a breath of fresh air. He touched me with his creativity and now I keep on having quirky ideas. I just hope I could execute them well. Soon after coming up with a good number of the summer collection I'm going to post it on my other blog http://mywickedstoreroom.blogspot.com.  Ciaow!

Nagtown ako Kanina. ..

Nag-town ako kanina...Summer na talaga.  Mainit kaya nagpalipat-lipat  ako ng jeep. .. Dreamland, ..Trancoville, ..tapos Bakakeng.

Pumps and More Serious Matters.

I'm supposed to go out to get my grades early today but a friend of mine told me that it wont be released today, but tomorrow . So this day ended up as one of those days that I don't have anything specific to do.I  did my laundry then continued making some accessories, and after a short while found that stuff boring. Suddenly, I found myself starring blankly at my  small collection of pumps and  it made me wonder why I couldn't wear them for long durations like other girls.  I really envy those girls who can wear and get to walk and even run with those high pumps graciously. I know that  for some reason most guys love it when girls are in their high-heels and hates girls who look like trying-hard "it-girls".Well, in my case, I know for sure I'm not trying to catch someone's attention, it's just a part of it and, occasionally wearing those wicked pumps is  more for my self-gratification . It's just that I really have to struggle to keep it  look cool. I even have to convince my self that  I'm using them to make me look a bit taller and sexier. It's really funny because I really tend to wobble when using them. When that happens I know I'm tired and the next thing to do is to find a place where I could sit comfortably. If that still do not work my last resort is to change in to my ballet flats, which most of time feels so "dress-value-diminishing". Haha!!
I really feel there's something wrong with my way of walking---like all the pressure is on the balls of my feet. It's really painful and it gives me corns and calluses.

I tried to do a bit of. .. a research, and this is what I found :

How To Walk In High Heels

Start small. If you’ve never walked in high heels before, don’t start out learning with 5 inch stilettos – that’s a recipe for pain and maybe even injury! Try something smaller, like a 2 inch heel or wedge to get used to the feeling. You can always work your way up to your most killer heels.
Walk heel to toe, not toe to heel. While it might be tempting to put your whole foot down at once, don’t do it – it makes your walk look strange when you’re wearing high shoes. Instead, put your heel down first, followed by your toe. This will give you more balance and make your stride look more natural.
Take small steps. Wearing heels naturally makes your stride shorter, so you’ll need to take more steps than usual. Don’t expect to be able to walk as fast as you normally do in high heels.
Step as if you were walking on a straight line. When you walk with one foot in front of the other, it gives your hips the sway that models are known for. Pretend you’re walking on a line on the ground, one foot in front of the other, or practice on an actual straight line at a basketball court or on a line in the floor.
Watch how models do it. Download a video of a fashion show on YouTube and watch the professionals strut in their high heels. While models walk the runway in a way that’s exaggerated from real life, you can learn from their walks and tone it down a little to get the perfect normal-person strut. Practice in front of a mirror until you get it down.
Practice… Then practice some more. At the end of the day, the best way to become a pro at walking in high heels is to do it as often as possible. Practice walking on carpet, slippery floors, up stairs, and outside. No amount of reading how to do it will make a difference if you don’t work at it. Walking in high heels is like any other skill – you need to do it a lot to get good at it.

. .. And basing it on the few articles I've read. ..

SOME OF THE REASONS WHY SOME GIRLS AREN'T COMFORTABLE IN WEARING HEELS ARE:
[arranged in a random order.]

1. Wrong Shoes. It doesn't fit you well.
2.The shoes is new.
3. It depends on what surface you're walking on.
4. You're walking or standing too long already.
5. You have a wrong gait or developed a wrong gait[way of walking].
6. Poor posture.
7. You're feet can't carry your body weight.
8. You easily get tired because your muscles are weak. You lack practice and exercise.
9. Your legs and feet  often feel numb, cold and get easily tired because of poor blood circulation. That's actually bad, it could a symptom of peripheral vascular disease.PVD
10.Poor Blood Circulation in the feet characterized by feet changing into reddish color not just pinkish. Swelling of tired feet causing corns and calluses to form due to friction.
12.Others.

If your diabetic, skip the idea of wearing high-heels.
Now there's really more things to consider in buying & wearing heels and in taking care of our feet!!

WHat's my Day Like?

I started my day late lunch so nothing really great happened today aside from starting my own blog site. .. I'm almost done and it is still raining so i'm just going to smoke to vent the negativity i'm feeling. My feline friend's desperate call for her lover is really creeping into my nerves. I wish it would end soon. haha. Ciaow for now. ..
